HAN coordinates with licensed commercial insurance brokers. We don't sell insurance directly — we connect you to vetted agents and handle the FMCSA filing side.

How it works

Most filings turn around the same business day. Authority takes 21 days because that's FMCSA's required protest period — not us.

Compliance FAQ

How long does new Authority take?

FMCSA requires a 21-day protest period after MC number is issued. We file within 24 hours of payment, so you're typically dispatch-ready in 21–28 days. UCR + BOC-3 + insurance filing are all handled in parallel during that window.

Are FMCSA government fees included in your prices?

No — government fees are passed through at cost and listed separately. Examples: FMCSA OP-1 application is $300, IRS Form 2290 is $100–$550 depending on truck weight, UCR is by fleet size. Our flat fee covers our work, not the government's.

Do I need a Drug & Alcohol consortium?

Yes — if you operate a CMV requiring CDL, FMCSA requires enrollment in a random testing program. Owner-operators count. Our $185/year/driver covers random testing pool + Clearinghouse query + result management.

What's the difference between MC and DOT?

USDOT is your safety registration number (required for any CMV in commerce). MC is your operating authority (required to haul for hire across state lines). Most for-hire carriers need both. We set both up together in the Authority Starter package.

I lost my Authority for not filing MCS-150. Can you reactivate?

Yes — our Authority Reactivation service ($295) handles it. We pull your current FMCSA status, file the missing MCS-150 update, and re-confirm insurance. Usually back online within 3 business days.

Do you handle IFTA stickers / decals?

Yes. IFTA Setup includes initial license + decals shipped to your base address. We also handle quarterly filings ($65/quarter/truck) if you want us to take that off your plate.

Do you do California Air Resources Board (CARB) filings?

Not currently — CARB has specific California in-state requirements (TRUCRS, Drayage Registry) that we refer to a California specialist. Ask us and we'll connect you.

Can I bundle this with FleetScan?

Yes — FleetScan tracks the expiration dates of everything we file for you, and the app's "fix it now" buttons link directly to our compliance team for renewals. Bundle pricing announced at FleetScan launch.

Tell us what to file.

Flat fees. Same-day filing. Real humans who do this every day.
